Hanging rock
Hanging rock is a mountain. It, and several other menoadnocks, are all that's left of an aincent mountain range. Many rare plants and animals reside on their slopes. Hanging rock state park was built 1935-1942 originally. Other things were added since then. Hanging rock is 2,278 feet tall, and the tallest mountain is Moore's knob, at 2,536 feet high.

Reverse the kids
Rhea birds are the fourth largest bird in the world. Like seahorses, once the female Rhea lays the eggs and they hatch, the male takes care of them for 6 months. After 6 months, they are old enough to fend for themselves.

Wild next to city
The wild horses of Assateague island are about a mile away from a city. They are probably descended from colonist's horses. They are completely wild. There are two main herds, Chincoteague and Assateague.

Poison food
When a tiger that lives on a reserve kills livestock, angry villagers poison the carcass. When the tiger returns to feed, it is doomed.

Sometimes in reserves, 46 tigers are crammed into only 26 kilometers. This is a problem, since 1 male tiger can have a territory of 100 kilometers.

Tigers are disappearing quickly. Perhaps their only hope is a heavily forested country called Bhutan.

Some male red foxes weigh 12 pounds! Also,the stinky spray of the skunk dosen't seem to bother the great horned owl.
